Contact Suppression API

Overview​

The Contact Suppression API allows API partners and organizations to submit contact identifiers (emails, phone numbers, and/or LinkedIn URLs) that they do not want data returned for. The system checks against this suppression list when processing data enrichment service requests.

When a contact is suppressed, the API returns an empty response with no error, and no credits are deducted.

Authentication​

This API uses API Key authentication. Include your API key in the Authorization header for each request as follows:

Authorization: <YOUR_API_KEY>

Suppression lists are scoped to your API key:

  • Partner-based API keys: Suppression list is scoped to the partner
  • Organization-based API keys: Suppression list is scoped to the organization
